Carl DeMaio, a political commentator and activist in California, has recently shared updates on social media regarding ongoing political campaigns and recent developments in the state.

On August 26, 2025, DeMaio posted about his campaign against Proposition 50, stating: “JUST DELIVERED! 500k palm cards for our NO on Prop 50 campaign! Help us distribute them to voters!”

Later that day, DeMaio addressed public health concerns in California by attributing a surge in rat infestations to new legislation. In his August 27 post, he wrote: “California is now facing a massive RAT infestation — and it’s all thanks to a reckless law we warned you about several years ago that recently went into effect. Get the details — WATCH!”

In another update on August 27, DeMaio highlighted fundraising efforts for the CA Voter ID Initiative and noted participation from notable figures. He stated: “Thrilled to be joined by Amb. @RichardGrenell at our event in Sacramento to raise funds for the CA Voter ID Initiative and to announce endorsements of key reformers we need to elect to shake up the CA state legislature.”

DeMaio has been active in California politics as both an advocate for ballot initiatives and a critic of certain legislative actions. His efforts often focus on electoral reforms such as voter identification requirements and opposition to specific propositions like Prop 50.
