The County Employees’ Charitable Organization (CECO) has distributed a total of $110,002 to 73 local community organizations. In addition, over $15,000 was allocated to the CECO Employee Crisis Fund during an annual awards ceremony held at the Southeastern Live Well Center. Some of the organizations benefiting from this contribution include Alpha Project for the Homeless, Foundation for Women Warriors, Rady Children’s Hospital Foundation, and San Diego Black Pride.

CECO, established in 1956, dedicates 100% of its raised funds back to the community. Since its inception, the organization has provided more than $7 million to support various causes across San Diego County.
