On Friday, March 21, former Del Norte High School standouts Sophia Roberts and Summer Gibson’s current college team, the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens, won 8-2 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Whitworth Pirates.

The game took place at Wig Beach Field. This was their first matchup against the Pirates this season.

The Sagehens’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 2:30 p.m. at Wig Beach Field against Whitworth Pirates.
