On Saturday, March 15, former Torrey Pines High School standout Eric Van Valkenburg’s current college team, the Houston Cougars, lost 13-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

The game took place at Schroeder Park. This was their second matchup against the Red Raiders this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at 1 p.m. at Schroeder Park against Texas Tech Red Raiders.
