On September 12, 2024, the Food and Drug Administration carried out an inspection at Gruma Corporation’s facility in San Diego to evaluate foodborne biological hazards, according to data posted on the FDA’s website.

The FDA’s final report concluded that Gruma Corporation was not required to implement any corrective measures regarding its management operations.

The FDA routinely inspects facilities across the nation to determine if the workplace and their products are compliant with FDA-regulated laws and regulations implemented to improve overall public health. Inspection results are then disclosed publicly.
