Former Canyon Crest Academy standout Jacques Godard and his collegiate team, the Grinnell Pioneers, were defeated 118-86 by the John Carroll Blue Streaks during the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 6.

The matchup, which began at 4:10 p.m., was the teams’ first meeting in the tournament and was held at the Shirk Center.
