On Saturday, March 29, former Westview High School standout Lateef Wakil’s current college team, the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens, lost 10-1 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Whittier Poets.

The game took place at Hugh B. Mendez Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Poets this season.

The Sagehens’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 3 p.m. at Hugh B. Mendez Stadium against Whittier Poets.
