San Diego State University’s men’s tennis team defeated Air Force 4-2 in its Mountain West conference opener on March 22. The win brings the Aztecs’ record to 7-9 overall and 1-0 in league play, while the Falcons drop to 4-8 and 0-1.

Head Coach Gene Carswell said, “It was a good win today against a well-coached Air Force team. I’m proud of the team for rallying together to earn a hard-fought win.”

The Aztecs started strong by securing the doubles point with victories on courts one and two. Aleksi Lofman and William Kleege won their match against Jack Brown and Tyler Leaird with a score of 6-3 on the top court.
