The graduation rate of African American students at Riley/New Dawn in the 2017-2018 school year remained unchanged from the previous school year’s graduation rate of 14.3 percent.
Of the 42,421 citizens living in Bell Gardens City in 2019, 99.1 percent said they were only one race, while 0.9 percent said they were two or more races, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained in February.
The graduation rate of Hispanic and Latino students at Riley/New Dawn in the 2017-2018 school year decreased from the previous school year’s graduation rate of 28.6 percent.
