59 percent of applicants to the FIDM-Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising-San Diego were admitted for fall 2018

At the FIDM-Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising-San Diego, 91 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 91 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private for-profit institution in San Diego enrolled 66 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 25.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

78 percent of undergraduates are residents of California, and 22 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (39 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (36 percent).

The school admitted 59 percent of the 104 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 59 percent enrolled.
