Cost of college went up for all students at Alliant International University-San Diego

Tuition and fees rose 2 percent for 2018-19 at Alliant International University-San Diego, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

California students paid $14,600 to attend the four-year private for-profit institution this year – $290 more than the $14,310 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 33 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 3 students received grants or scholarships totaling $28,232 and 3 students took out student loans totaling more than $20,500.

Including all undergraduates (3,780), 102 students used grants or scholarships totaling $715,355, and 93 students took out $940,981 in federal student loans.
