Of the 12,738 people living in Commerce city in 2020, 51.2 percent (6,522) were women and 48.8 percent (6,216) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the San Diego City Wire.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 62. In the 65 and over age range, there were 1,185 females and 1,100 males.
