Senator Brian Jones is set to host his annual holiday open house at his Scripps Ranch Office on December 14, 2024. The event, which runs from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., is open to all residents and community groups within Senate District 40, covering North and East San Diego County and the City of San Diego.

The gathering offers a chance for attendees to meet Senator Jones and his staff, discuss casework or state agency issues, and learn about legislative matters. "The annual open house brings the community together at Senator Jones’s office," according to the announcement. Visitors will also receive updates on district affairs and the senator's work in Sacramento.

Various local schools, restaurants, non-profits, and community groups are expected to participate. Among those with booths are University City Community Association (UCCA), Poway Chamber of Commerce, National Black Contractors Association of USA Inc., Wounded Warrior Homes, San Dieguito River Park JPA/Sikes Adobe Historic Farmstead, UC San Diego, Alliant International University, Home of Guiding Hands, Pacific Southwest Association of Realtors, East County Transitional Living Center, Feeding San Diego, California State University San Marcos International Facility Management Association of San Diego Scripps Ranch Civic Association Deeper Still Fallbrook D'Vine Path Fallbrook Village Rotary Mira Mesa Town Council El Cajon Valley Host Lions Club National University Neighborhood Healthcare.

Refreshments will be provided during this opportunity for residents to engage with their local representatives and organizations.
