UC San Diego Athletics transitioned to NCAA Division I and The Big West in 2020 after two decades in Division II. During its time in Divisions III and II, UC San Diego teams won 30 national championships and nearly 150 individual titles. Over 1,400 scholar-athletes have earned All-America honors. Eighty-four Tritons have been named Academic All-Americans and thirty-nine have received NCAA Post Graduate Scholarships.
