Cost of college went up for all students at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine-San Diego

Tuition and fees rose 6 percent for 2018-19 at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine-San Diego, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

California students paid $9,791 to attend the four-year private for-profit institution this year – $558 more than the $9,233 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 73 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 33 students received grants or scholarships totaling $78,940 and 38 students took out student loans totaling more than $277,473.

Including all undergraduates (988), 55 students used grants or scholarships totaling $142,807, and 63 students took out $422,590 in federal student loans.
