Of the 7,900 people living in Topanga CDP in 2019, 50.8 percent (4,017) were women and 49.2 percent (3,883) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the San Diego City Wire.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 2,469-to-2,401. In the 65 and over age range, there were 901 females and 718 males.
