San Diego County residents who have submitted their mail ballots for the upcoming election may wonder what happens next. The process is designed to be secure and efficient, ensuring that each vote is accurately counted.

The mail ballot begins its journey when it arrives at the Registrar’s office. From there, it undergoes a series of steps before being included in the final count.

In related news, Tuesday marks the last day to cast votes in the Presidential General Election. Starting Saturday, over 200 Vote Centers will be available for voters, with 39 centers opening specifically for this election.
