The U.S. Marine Corps and the County of San Diego are inviting residents to participate in the annual Toys for Tots donation drive at five county airports. The initiative aims to collect new, unwrapped toys for children in San Diego County communities. Donation boxes have been placed at McClellan Airport in Carlsbad, Gillespie Field in El Cajon, Fallbrook Airpark in Fallbrook, Ramona Airport in Ramona, and Borrego Valley Airport in Borrego Springs. The collection will continue until December 14.

Residents can donate a variety of items including toys, bikes, games, dolls, and stuffed animals. Pilots are also encouraged to fly into these airports to deliver their contributions.

Special collection events are planned at Fallbrook Airpark and Ramona Airport where uniformed Marines will be present to receive donations. The first event is set for December 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ramona Airport located at 2450 Montecito Road in Ramona. A second event will take place on December 14 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fallbrook Airpark located at 2155 Air Park Road in Fallbrook.
