San Diego City Wire

San Diego County, in collaboration with the Futures Foundation, organized a pre-holiday event to distribute refurbished laptops to foster youth and families. The laptops, previously used by County employees, were refurbished by Peraton, a technology services contractor.

This initiative aims to provide essential educational tools for students and foster youth transitioning out of care. Additionally, it supports environmental sustainability through the reuse of technology.

The County continues its commitment to supporting foster families and promoting sustainable practices within the community.
