Medical examiner seeks help identifying deceased woman with unique tattoos

The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office is requesting assistance from the public to identify a woman found unresponsive on January 10, 2025. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. in the parking lot of Palomar Street MTS Station in Chula Vista. The woman was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista, where she was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.

Despite thorough investigations, authorities have been unable to ascertain her identity and are appealing for help, especially if anyone recognizes her distinctive tattoos or matches her description. The Medical Examiner's Office describes the woman as Hispanic or bi-racial, aged between 18 and 25 years old, approximately 5 feet 1 inch tall, and weighing about 166 pounds. She had wavy black hair and brown eyes.

Her unique tattoos include a rose on the outer corner of her left eye, “Samantha” on her right rib cage, an outline of a heart on her right chest, and a money bag on her right ring finger.
