Tuberculosis exposure reported at Mount Miguel High School

The County’s Tuberculosis Control Program is working in close collaboration with Grossmont Union High School District to notify students, staff, and volunteers potentially exposed to tuberculosis (TB) during the second semester of the 2023-24 school year at Mount Miguel High School. The school is located at 8585 Blossom Lane in Spring Valley. The dates of potential exposure are from Feb. 1 to June 4, 2024.

San Diego’s Live Well on Wheels bus provides mobile health services

The County of San Diego's Live Well on Wheels (LiveWoW) bus has been seen driving around town, providing residents with convenient access to various health and community services. The county operates two of these buses, offering support for programs such as CalFresh and Medi-Cal, as well as public health and behavioral health resources. These mobile offices aim to bring essential services directly to neighborhoods and local events.
