Additional vote centers and six super centers will open on Saturday in San Diego County, allowing voters to cast their ballots early at more than 200 locations. These centers will be operational for four days leading up to and including the final voting day on November 5.

The centers will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Monday, November 4, and from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5.

In anticipation of increased voter turnout, the Registrar's office has expanded the number of vote centers and added six super centers with more check-in stations, voting booths, and poll workers.

"If you plan to vote in person, be prepared," advised the Registrar’s office. Voters are encouraged to read their voter information pamphlet and mark selections on the sample ballot beforehand for convenience when casting their official ballot.

Voters can visit any center in the county; locations can be found at sdvote.com. Vote centers offer services beyond traditional polling places, such as touch screen ballot marking devices that allow voters to print out an official ballot for submission.

Campaigning or electioneering within 100 feet of a vote center or official ballot drop box is prohibited. This includes displaying or disseminating information advocating for or against candidates or measures on the ballot.

The Registrar’s office suggests using early voting options due to potentially lengthy voting processes caused by numerous contests on the ballot.

Ballots can be returned via official drop boxes available around-the-clock at most locations until they close at 8 p.m., November 5. Early submission ensures prompt processing for election night results release.

Voters who have mailed their ballots can confirm receipt by visiting sdvote.com or tracking it through "Where’s My Ballot?" with USPS.

For more information about voting in the upcoming election, visit sdvote.com or call (858) 565-5800 or toll-free at (800) 696-0136.
