Firefighting skills training launched at Ramona High School

San Diego County Fire/CAL FIRE has partnered with Ramona High School to offer students training in firefighting skills. This initiative is part of the school's Career Technical Education Program and introduces new Fire Technology courses. These courses are designed to equip students with both classroom knowledge and practical experience, preparing them for responding to structure fires and wildfires.

The collaboration aims to provide comprehensive education in fire response, blending theoretical learning with real-world application. The program represents a step towards enhancing career opportunities for students interested in public safety roles.
