All public offices in San Diego County, including family resource centers, library branches, and animal shelters, will be closed on Monday, January 20th. This closure is in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Despite the holiday, essential services such as law enforcement and emergency animal control response will remain operational.
County parks and campgrounds will stay open throughout the year, although some locations will not be accessible on this day. Camping reservations can still be made online via the County’s Online Camping Reservations webpage; however, the reservation phone line for the Department of Parks and Recreation will not be available during the holiday.
Additionally, all county public health clinics will not operate on Monday. Regular business hours for all county offices are set to resume on Tuesday, January 21st.
