On Saturday, March 22, former Veritas Prep standout Melo Sanchez’s current collegiate team the Arkansas Razorbacks won 75-66 against the St. John's Red Storm in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Amica Mutual Pavilion, this was the first game against the St. John's Red Storm during the championship.

Melo Sanchez’s game position is guard.
