22 percent of applicants to California Miramar University were admitted for fall 2018

At California Miramar University, 69 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 74 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in San Diego enrolled 236 students in fall 2018, including 68 in undergraduate and 168 in graduate programs, data shows. 22.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

43 percent of undergraduates are residents of California, and 57 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (29 percent) and Black or African American (25 percent).

The school admitted 22 percent of the 41 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 56 percent enrolled.
