San Diego State University said its online master's education program ranked No. 15 in the nation, a new ranking from U.S. News & World Reported determined.
"We are extremely proud that our online master's programs continue to be recognized among the nation's best," Y. Barry Chung, dean of the College of Education, said in a January university release. "Our innovative faculty tailor programs to empower teachers and educational leaders to expand their skills and knowledge, build connections, advance their careers and make a positive impact worldwide."
San Diego State University also was No. 15 in curriculum and instruction. U.S. News and World Report ranked the university's educational administration and supervision program at No. 15.
Factors weighed in the rankings included the opportunities for students to interact with their instructors and classmates. It also factored in the extent to which they complete their academic degrees.
