In observance of Independence Day, all San Diego County offices, family resource centers, libraries, and animal shelters will be closed to the public on Thursday, July 4. Essential services such as law enforcement and emergency animal control response will continue through the holiday.

County parks, campgrounds, and neighborhood day-use parks will remain open 365 days a year. However, certain locations will be closed on Thursday. Camping reservations can still be made online at the County’s Online Camping Reservations web page, but the Department of Parks and Recreation’s reservation phone line will not be staffed during the holiday.

All County public health clinics will also be closed on Thursday. Normal business hours for all County offices will resume on Friday, July 5.
