The San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office has identified a woman found unresponsive in Chula Vista on January 10. The woman, previously referred to as Jane Doe, was confirmed to be Jaylin Nicole Perez. This identification was made possible through tips from the public and communication from the family, who contacted the county's investigator with her name.

"The County appreciates the public’s assistance with this case," stated a representative of the Medical Examiner’s Office. Following the initial report, numerous tips were received which aided in identifying Perez.

The case highlights the ongoing efforts of San Diego County to engage with and rely on community involvement in matters requiring public assistance.
